​The West Career and Technical Academy's Biomed Club is an extracurricular organization established for those interested in additional biomedical science immersion. It is created as a collaboration between both Veterinary and Medical Sciences as well as Biotechnology programs.

 

The West Career and Technical Academy Biomed Club provides opportunities for students who show keen interest in the biomedical sciences. Students find themselves socializing with other students who share their passions for edification. Students study with and learn from others in their educational endeavors. Labs are conducted for and by these students in their attempts to expand their knowledge past classroom limits. Students embark on field trips with medical field focuses in mind. The WCTA Biomed Club works to foster the intrigued student mind. Students are instilled with higher pursuits in mind and with accrued knowledge.
